Terms of Agreement

I understand that AFS respects my privacy, wants to inform me of its data protection and privacy policies and would like to obtain my permission before sending requests to AFS or applying to AFS.

I understand and accept that AFS may process my personal and sensitive information (personal data) during the inquiry and application process and may disclose such data to third parties for any purposes necessary for the proper organization and implementation of the AFS program can.

I understand that my personal information will not be sold or otherwise transferred to other third parties for any other purpose and that AFS will transfer and maintain the personal information in centralized databases in at least two locations to ensure that the data is not lost. These databases are only accessible to AFS staff or volunteers, who will use the data solely to manage AFS program operations.

I expressly acknowledge that AFS Intercultural Programs, its national and regional partners and partner organizations (hereinafter referred to as "AFS") may use the personal data I provide (including all sensitive data) in the manner described above. I further acknowledge and confirm that all information I have provided is accurate and complete.

I understand that the host countries may not be able to meet the restrictions or requirements in the completed application and that acceptance into the AFS program does not guarantee that these wishes will be met.

I agree that AFS may contact me in writing or by telephone as part of the entire application process.

I agree that my contact details will be forwarded to other participants of the selection weekends, preparatory seminars, etc. in order to create possible rides.
